When Dr. Dung opened his practice in 1987, he also began traveling to Molokaʻi to care for families who had no local access to an orthodontist. That outreach has continued without interruption ever since. For roughly 15 years, the practice has also cared for families on Lānaʻi. Generations of neighbor-island patients have started and finished treatment close to home because of it.
